Spring has sprung in Japan and I am in love..... 4/1/14

konnichiwa!!!!!!
ok everyone has to make it a goal in life to come to Japan in the
spring time!!!! my goodness!! words, pictures, videos, nothing does it
justice! The sakura flowers are gorgeous and they are everywhere!!!!!
Its like better than disneyland at christmas!!! Everyone is so happy
right now! The japanese people are so proud! hahahah its adorable!
really though the sakura flowers just cover the streets with their
light pink beauty! everyone is always outside walking and taking
pictures! which is a great prosylting tool hahah! loving it!!!!

I feel like a lot happened this week but i dont even know what. ok so
tuesday we went on exchanges with the sister training leaders! it was
so fun! i got to be with sister hunsaker again! tsukuba forever!!!!
but we had an awesome day! got to meet with a potential investigator
for lunch! Maiko is awesome! japanese but graduated from ucla! shes
obviously way good in english so thats always nice :) sister hunsaker
and i both shared our whole hearts and souls with this girl talking
about the church and the blessings that come. We all three felt the
spirit so strong. When we asked if we could meet to teach her more she
said " i dont think so..." ugh. stab in the heart. she was like our
only appointment this whole transfer... hahah ughh... why do these
things happen? i still dont know but i trust Heavenly Father. Maiko is
so prepared and even said " japanese people need your message. you are
going to help so many people here" ... well that could be you too
honey!!! haha! were good friends though so we will keep trying! next
time were going to go eat crocodile and frog! woohoo! party!...

wednesday we had the most amazing 2 zone conference with president
budge! we are so lucky to have the best mission president in the
entire world! the whole thing was so good but the best part for me was
his very beginning training on companions. we all got called to
repentance a little.. that felt good. HE talked about how we are all
representatives of christ and so we are trying to be his disciples. in
order to become one, we must obey his commandments. The greatest
commandment is to love God and the second is love one another. we go
two by two. It's the lords way. It's preparing you for the future.
Gods way in the celestial kingdom is the same. Two by two. The
greatest population will be couples.
All the other things come second. First love your companion! Love your
neighbor! There will be no success in your mission until you love your
companion.
Christ told us to love all people. Even the enemies. We should love them.
How must Christ think of me? Me this imperfect, unrighteousness,
disobedient, thing.. He still loves me because he chooses to love me.
Love is a thoughtful committed decision. It's the decision to help
another person. To sacrifice yourself for others.
i love my companion with all my heart but i know i fall short. and
this applies to anyone! friends,
family, everyone! Everyone deserves a little more love. A little more
kindess, and a little more service. and since this meeting, my
companion and i have had the best week together yet! i love people and
i love love!!!! so grateful for my wonderful companion! so grateful
for the love of my Heavenly Father! that love alone does wonders!

thursday we went out to visit a member but never actually found the
house.. hahah! japanese address are ridiculous and impossible. So we
got lead to some random area. Of course there had to be some reason we
came to this neighborhood so we started housing. I spotted on a hill
the biggest most american looking house ive ever seen in my life so my
companion and i run up to it and ring the door bell. We say were the
missionaries and this american lady comes out and just smiles! she
goes "im the wife of a pastor so as long as you dont talk about
religion you can come in!" ahahah! well we went in for a little. but
of course we talked about religion! its a big part of both of our
lives! luckily we were able to clear up a lot of misconceptions about
the church and the members! we also got to talk about missionary work
and she was impressed with us hahah! that felt good :) and felt so bad
for our families so she took down our moms emails and said she would
email them! hahaha! so cute! hope you got it mom!!!! she was so sweet!
put a whole bunch of food in our bags too! i like her :)

friday we met a guy from italy!!! his name is giovanni! i stopped him
while handing out flyers for eikaiwa and got talking with him. By the
end of our hour conversation, he had a Book of Mormon, and marked a
few scriptures, and was committed to take the missionaries lessons!
wow!!!! your welcome elders... hahah! such a miracle!!

and today was the best! temple pday! came a little early this transfer
cause they split the eleders and sisters hahaha! after the temple my
companion and i got off at the wrong train station but ended up at
this great park full of sakura flowers!!! mistake? i think not!
fate!!!! it was amazing!!!! huge trees lined a cute little creek for a
few miles! it was the most beautifulest thing ive ever seen!!! i am
the luckiest girl in the world!!!! What beautiful creations! All for
us!
24 He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for
he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life that he may
draw all men unto him. Wherefore, he commandeth none that they shall
not partake of his salvation.
The world is a gift! its a beautiful world! i am so thankful! i love
my savior! i love you all!!!!!
