こんばんわ愛するみなさん!!! 3/24/14

こんいちわ^_^ クリステンセン姉妹です!
hi hi!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY AND DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!! love you two with all my
heart!!!!!!!!!

Sister Requilman and I had a great week!! things are finally starting
to pick up!!! we actually have an investigator now!!!!! hahah!
woohooo!!! finally... weve been working hard each and every day and
its finally paying off! we are exhausted, but still going strong!
So this one and only investigators name is Yurina<3
Yurina is a high school student who comes to eikaiwa twice each week!
she is adorable! we met and made cookies together at the church and
gave her a church tour! she loved the chapel! she said that she could
feel that this room was a holy place. and she said her heart felt
clean! wow! what a great way to describe the sacrament room! ive been
studying a lot on repentance recently. i have never had to repent of
some big sin so i felt like i had reeally never felt the cleansing
power of repentance. It was something that i wanted to feel in order
to be able to explain it to investigators better. But through my
studies, i came to understand that repentance is not just being
forgiven of sins. Repentance is the power to change. To change any
small attribute for the better and become more like christ. Repentance
to me is hope. Hope for a better tomorrow and a better me. And when we
partake of the sacrament we get to think about our savior and the hope
that he offers us. And when we allow this hand to help us in our
lives, our hearts do become clean. I was blown away that this 17 year
old girl understood it better than i did! but how grateful that we
were all able to feel the spirit together and come to understand our
saviors roll in our lives a little better. she is a wonderful girl! we
were also able to teach lesson one! when we explained joseph smith she
said she had never heard it before but it all seemed to make sense.
She understood and she said it brought many thoughts to her mind! she
is just so dang adorable! she is also way good at following up!
hahaha! which is my job! she emails us after eikaiwa and after we meet
to tell us thank you! i had planned on emailing her today and she beat
me to it! she has become my cute little buddy! she always just wants
to know what were doing! so adorable! she has such great potential!
she is only 17 but has such great desires and sensitivity to the
spirit! i love her! it keeps happening.. i keep meeting more and more
people to love!!! that long list makes me so happy!!!

this week since we still dont have investigators we decided to go try
and meet all the members in our ward! we dont have appointments but
the members just welcome us in like were at home! the ward is really
happy to have sisters :) its always the cute mommies and their kids!
so fun! japanese kids are without a doubt the cutest little things on
the earth! i want one! haha! but spending time with the members is
really paying off because each member has asked us that we pray for a
specific need that they have. i love that the members trust us and
want our help! we also got a referral from a member!!! finally!!! she
sounds so prepared! hopefully we get to meet her soon so more details
on that later!

sunday was absolute craziness!! i had to give another talk.. Heavenly
Father really wants me to learn japanese cause he keeps forcing me
into situations like this.. haha! grateful for it! then the
missionaries got to go to primary and teach the little kids! oh they
are so cute! all future missionaries of course! that night we went to
our wards single adult activity! then had an appointment at a members
house for dessert and a lesson! we were on the go all day long! i boy
do i like being busy! the dessert party with the kannari family was
probably my favorite part of the day though! the kannaris have a huge
family! so we went to the grandparents house and had two of their kids
with all their kids there too! we were so nervous to give the lesson
but it was good! we taught about the plan of salvation and had the
kids help us put together a puzzle for it! the grandpa reminds me of
my own grandpa christensen. and i dont really even know why. but i
just love the man! so sweet and just wants to talk! we felt very
loved!

it was a good week! i am so grateful for my savior! today we met with
a less active and talked about Jesus Christ as our foundation. i love
having the opportunity to testify of my savior!! i do my best each day
to make my savior at the foundation of everything that i am. His love
is so great, something i cant comprehend but its something that i am
ever so grateful for!  i know he loves each and every one of us! all
i love you!!!!!!!!!!
