konbanwa!!!!!! 2/25/14

typed out a super long email to send and somehow it got deleted....
ugh. sorry! so this is my letter i sent to my mission president this week.. hahah sorry! it was the best i could do! i will have a betterone next week! love you all!!!

Sister kelley and i had a wonderful and quite the exhasuting week! but definitely most grateful to be busy! such a change, such a blessing so we cant complain!
tuesday we had a lesson with atsuko san. she is a sweet lady with two adorable daughters. we went to her house and spent some time with she and her daughters. They are such a fun family! Atsuko said she even wants us to meet her husband soon! we really have developed the best relationship with her! she is just such a lovable person! such a good mother, and friend! sister kelley and i talk about how we can see her
as such a good member one day! maybe blessings the sweet kids lives in primary or something like that! we got to finish lesson one with her. it was a great lesson and the spirit really spoke to her that our message was true. she kept saying the word truth! i know she feels it in her heart! sister kelley and i both looked at each other and had the same thought. baptism. but for some reason it didnt happen. i dont
know why. we didnt ask her to be baptized. i think we were both a little nervous, and from experiences in the past, scared that asking her to be baptized would scare her off.
well the next day at zone conference, one of the trainings was on committing people to baptism on the first lesson. sister kelley and i felt silly for being scared. if we really loved atsuko enough we would ask her to keep all commitments in order to recieve eternal life and all the blessings God has in store for her! we wished we would have committed her before but hopefully its not too late! we are excited to teach her this week and extend the baptisimal invitation with
confidence!
after zone conference, the tsukuba missionaries had a ping pong activity at the church. we all brought investigators and had a good time! the zone leaders invited a girl named mariam. (she is the girl we talked to you about on the phone, she is muslim) we got to know her really well so at the end we told her that we teach about christianity. she said she was interested to learn so right then we
taught her lesson 1. she is amaizing! such strong beliefs in God and his love for her. it was a great lesson! this time we didnt hold back. we asked her to be baptized as confidently as we could. and she said yes!!! we have an appointment with her tomorrow! we will find out if her country is muslim and see if we can continue teaching her. we were so grateful for the training just earlier that morning that allowed us
to be prepared to extend baptism.

the next day we got another chance to extend baptism!!! maki san is an eikaiwa student. she was actually a referral from church head quarters from a friend but mostly to help her find eikaiwa. i have become great friends with her so when we asked if we could meet she was more than happy to! she said she didnt know much about christ and his life and
was interested in learning. we taught lesson one and explained a little bit of the importance of the atonement and why it makes christ special. she understood and seemed like she liked what she heard. she was excited to read the Book of Mormon! she was a little hesitant about baptism but it wasnt a no so we will take it! she wants to keep
learning together! what huge blessings we saw this week!!! i am so grateful for the perfectness of heavenly fathers plan! although i may not understand his timing, he knows what is best for each of his children. he knows us inside and out! an apostle said "god loves his asian children, thats why he made so many of them! " how grateful i am for that! grateful to have the opportunity to find and teach all my
best friends! i love this work! i love my savior! and i love these
people!
